Despite being the worst of the Bioshock series, there's a lot to like about this game. Columbia provides a gorgeous backdrop with many fun and exciting action set-pieces. Combat is simple, restricted and a bit underwhelming. Unlike previous entries the weapon wheel is absent, restricting the player to a maximum of two guns at a time + the skyhook melee weapon. On top of the small amount of weapons usable at a time some guns are only available in specific areas. The vigors are less imaginative this time round, mostly being reskins of already existing plasmids from the originals. Though it's too bad that pretty much all of these are invalidated by the Bucking Bronco and Return to Sender vigors. The former completely taking all but the largest enemies out of combat making group encounters a joke, and the latter absorbing enemy gunfire and shooting it back at them. The ability to place vigors as traps is such a lacking feature compared to the more imaginative and strategic plasmid combos found in Bioshock 2. I'm not really all that great at judging what makes good storytelling and character writing so i won't touch on that much, but this game would probably be worse than the 1st but better than the 2nd in that regard. I will however say that Elizabeth is great, both as a combat aide and character, probably being one of the most memorable characters in the series. The miscellaneous side objectives (enemy research, hacking, etc.) have been completely removed, which while not perfect by any means, gave the other games a certain charm and overall more engaging experience.Overall not necessarily a bad game, but when compared to the Rapture-based games (and even the original E3 gameplay footage), this entry is severely lacking,7.5/10, a really good game, just a bare-bones Bioshock game.. Has an ending better than Game Of Thrones'.. Pure masterpiece. biocock inbred. Stunning Visuals, I just finished it and throughout a lot of the game I would just stand in awe for several minutes. If you play it yourself you can see how much effort went into making this game's aesthetic and art direction great. My only complaint however is that the game gives you too much freedom when it comes to the combat. First off, you have 8 completely different vigors which give you powers. Then you have 10 different guns, and finally there's a "sky-hook" which allows you to navigate around stages. All of these 3 things are supposed to be used together in combat and 90% of the time it just feels super clunky.. The game is definitely a masterpiece. One of the best games I've played. Thanks to the developers, those who create such unforgettable worlds, stories, characters that you can enjoy for many years. Special thanks for Elizabeth. One of the most lively characters in video games. The game is worth every penny spent and minutes on it. This is definitely a recommendation for an urgent purchase, if you have not played it yet.. BIOSHOCK: INFINITEI had huge expectation when i started playing this game as bioshock was one of my favorite franchises but i can't say i felt sad or happy after finishing this game. Because this game is not dark like the other games in the series rather this is so bright with floating cities ( beautiful visuals) and the most prettiest companion (elizabeth). Though this provides a fresh breath to the series it was nothing like the previous entries, no thrill elements, no zombies still it manages to provide a good story. Gameplay was similar to other bioshock. The best part of the game was going back to rapture. Its a good entry in the series but not the best. DLC:BURIAL AT SEA:There are two episodes both of which takes place in Rapture. The first one is connected to the bioshock infinite and the second one to the original bioshock. Episode two's ending was the one of the best and connects beautifully to the original bioshock. It's worth the play. I liked it better than the main game.Main game rating: 6/10DLC: 10/10Overall: 8/10Play it to see Elizabeth :).. Whatever this game is, its not bioshock.. This is a great game and a benevolent example of how you do politics right by building the games story and setting around it not last minute half♥♥♥♥♥attempt at virtue signaling for praise by the political activist gaming media. The story so far is immersive. Politics and religion is well done and there are risque moments in the game that I fear because of our current media's obsession with identity politics would get slandered and dragged through the mud for. Unfortunate. It's event's like that that impact the immersion of the world the developer's have created in a positive way. One gripe I have with the game is the saving situation. It's a major design flaw. The game will automatically save at certain check points. I lost more than 15 minutes of gameplay because I hadn't reached the next checkpoint. A "Save and Exit" feature would've been great.
